An email just arrived from Lisa in Brooklyn who sent me this photo of a lovely, colorful French Connection dress she recently purchased. She tells me that she has reached a bit of a stand still when it comes to choosing a pair of shoes to go with her dress. Of course a plain old pair of ballerina flats will do the trick here Lisa, but its summer and it would be a good idea to explore your options a bit more. My suggestion: metallic gladiator sandals. A dress such as this with a lot of bright colors, needs not be dull and the same goes with what you put on your feet. These sandals are one of the hottest summer looks to hit the street. Gladiators come in an array of designs I might add. Some having thicker or thinner straps or higher or lower heights meaning some fall below the ankle and some can even reach as high as the middle of ones calf!
